Acetic Acid

Acetic acid is primarily utilized as a raw material for manufacturing vinyl acetate monomer (VAM). It also serves as a reaction promoter in terephthalic acid production and acts as a raw material for cellulose acetate, acetate esters, acetic anhydride, chloroacetic acid, and numerous other industrial compounds. Interestingly, in its most common form, vinegar, acetic acid constitutes about 6% of the solution, making it a versatile ingredient heavily employed in chemical processes and daily life.
